Hello all,
On April 9 from 8:30–10:00 am, we will be hosting a virtual Health Design Collaborative focused on best practices in trauma and emergency department design.
The program format includes three short presentations—10 minutes each—highlighting innovations across different care environments: acute care, pediatrics, and behavioral and mental health.
Kevin Meek (Haskell/NIHD) will be speaking about innovations in acute care settings, and we are currently looking for someone to present on innovations in behavioral and mental health environments. I thought there might be someone within this Network who would be interested in sharing their work or perspective.
For those who may not be familiar with the Health Design Collaborative, these events are designed to be highly interactive. After the three presentations, participants move into small-group breakout discussions, followed by a report-out from each group, which makes for a lively and engaging exchange of ideas. These sessions are typically very well attended.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in participating in—or if you’d simply like to learn more—please feel free to reply here or reach out to me directly at dlevin@healthdesign.org, and we can connect.
I hope someone from the Network might be interested in joining us.
Best,
Debra
