As some of us prepare for the HCD Conference this year, we may be hoping to see innovation on a product that would maintain safety for patients, staff, visitors, but take design for dignity and empowerment to the next level.
As we briefly mentioned on our last call, I wish someone would come up with more/better mechanisms for patients to independently operate integral blinds - especially at exterior windows. Several clients have expressed interest in this feature as well.
